Since the text is directly copied from the CD, it’s safe to assume any linguistic error in this collection also exists in the game itself. Most of them were later fixed in the PC version.

In the original game, it was possible to go out on a date with Aerith, Tifa, Yuffie or Barret during the party’s second visit to the Gold Saucer. In Final Fantasy VII Remake , the mechanics are the same — certain choices you make, usually in dialogue, invisibly affect the outcome. This means that if you’re angling for a specific character, you’ll need to be on the lookout. Here’s what you need to know about the choices that should influence the outcome in your favour.

Always answer in favor of Tifa in all dialogue choices in which she asks a question, be as positive as possible, and make sure you talk to her first when you land in the Sewers in Chapter

The Gold Saucer is one of the premiere locations in Final Fantasy VII , and fans of the original are surely foaming at the mouth to see how the Remake expands on the beloved area after seeing how much love Wall Market was given. Filled with mini-games the players can indulge in, the Gold Saucer offers some of the best rewards in the entire game. Better yet, several of the mini-games are just genuinely fun to play.

All this said, perhaps the cherry on top of the Gold Saucer is the date Cloud gets to go on near the end of Disc 1. All four dates are extremely memorable, but two in particular might be worth more trouble than most players are willing to put in. Of the four possible dates Cloud can take with him when the party returns to the Gold Saucer, Yuffie is the single hardest character to go out with. Players need to make sure to get Yuffie as soon as possible and to keep her in the party over the other girls and Barret.

Interestingly, Yuffie is the most affectionate with Cloud, kissing him on the Gondola. Cloud remains silent as is the case with most the dates, but his silence is especially noted here as Yuffie tries to make smalltalk.

I just realized that in the date scene *SP*

His strongest attack is Aero3 which will cause upwards of damage. Another attack is his tail sting, which may inflict Poison. Keep those Max Potions and Phoenix Downs handy, and just keep attacking. Limit Breaks will deal severe damage to him.

Gold Saucer – Interrupted by Fireworks

The two easiest candidates for Cloud’s affection are Aerith Gainsborough and Tifa Lockhart, as he has to interact with both characters on numerous occasions during the story. It’s also possible for Cloud to go on a date with either Barret Wallace or Yuffie Kisaragi, but these are much more difficult to see without exploiting glitches as the game heavily leans in the favor of Cloud pairing up with Aerith or Tifa.

The character with the most points will show up at Cloud’s room when the party visits the Gold Saucer for the second time for a date. At the start of the game, Aerith has fifty points, Tifa has thirty, Barret has ten, and Yuffie has zero. If Tifa is chosen as Don Coreno’s date, asking “You alright?

For all its hot-and-bothered flirting and eye-candy cast, Final Fantasy VII Remake doesn’t include the famous Gold Saucer date sequence from the original game. However, it does have a pretty close equivalent that’s easy to miss on your first playthrough. At the beginning of Chapter 14 , you’ll see a cutscene in the middle of the night at Aerith’s house.

One of your companions will have a sleepless night, and Cloud will venture into the garden to investigate and have a heart-to-heart chat. Here’s how your choices throughout the game will affect which of the three possible cutscenes you see. Light spoilers ahead for FF7 Remake , but we’re not spoiling the Chapter 14 secret scenes themselves. Like the original game, FF7 Remake has a hidden affection meter that measures Cloud’s relationships with his fellow party members.

Generally speaking, any time you’re prompted with a question by or about one of the girls, your response will affect Cloud’s relationship with them. I totally missed this the first time I played the game, until the post-game checklist showed me there were three possible “resolutions” for Chapter

Final Fantasy VII/Debug Room

There is a scene that occurs during a playthrough at the end of Disc 1 when the team returns to Gold Saucer. This scene involves the main character of the game, Cloud, going out on a date with one of the other characters. Who he goes out with is largely dependent on choices that you make throughout the game. Throughout the Jegged. Final Fantasy VII , a role-playing video game developed by Square now Square Enix and originally released in , features many fictional characters in both major and minor roles. VII has been followed by multiple sequels and prequels, grouped into the multimedia series Compilation of Final Fantasy VII : these include the mobile game Before Crisis , the movie sequel Advent Children , the shooter spinoff Dirge of Cerberus , and the action game Crisis Core.

Other media include spin-off books and the original video animation Last Order. VII follows Cloud Strife , a troubled mercenary who joins with an eco-terrorist group to stop Shinra from draining the life of the Planet to use as an energy source. As the story progresses, conflicts escalate and the world’s safety becomes their central concern as new forces emerge to challenge the original group.

Cloud and his team eventually face off against the game’s antagonist, Sephiroth. Other important characters in the series include Aerith Gainsborough , a flower seller who becomes a good friend to Cloud; Zack Fair , Cloud’s friend, a former soldier of Shinra and the protagonist of Crisis Core ; and Vincent Valentine , a man made immortal by Shinra experimentation and the protagonist of Dirge of Cerberus. The conflict between Cloud and Sephiroth forms the core narrative around which many of the series’ stories are built.

Final Fantasy 7 (FFVII) – Date Event

Aerith, Tifa, Yuna, and Barret start the game with a hidden value. For the sake of simplicity, we will call this Interest Points. Depending on actions taken throughout the game and dialogue decisions made, these points either rise or fall. In the second story related visit to the Gold Saucer, Cloud will go on a date with the character with the most Interest Points.

Aerith naturally starts with a high number of Interest Points, so players looking to go on the date with her should play the game normally without worrying too much about manipulating Interest Points.

Yuffie is introduced when she ambushes the protagonist Cloud Strife and his allies in either the Gongaga jungle or the forests south.

The purpose of this guide is to give you information about how the game chooses Cloud ‘s date the second time you get to the Gold Saucer. There are four characters that can go on the date: Aeris , Tifa , Yuffie and as odd as it may seem Barret. Each of these characters, throughout the course of disc 1, has an hidden parameter that we will call “affinity” with Cloud. This parameter changes during the game for each character, and can go up and down depending on two factors: your responses when given multiple choices questions, and the composition of your party at certain stages of the game.

When the date event occurs, the character who has the highest affinity with Cloud goes on the date with him. Each of the four characters has a starting affinity: Aeris has the highest, then Tifa, then Yuffie – finally, Barret has the lowest. This means that if you don’t work to change your affinity levels, you will probably end up dating Aeris, or possibly Tifa. To ensure that you will have the date you want, this guide is divided into four chapters, each describing the general behaviour you must have, and important actions to take in order to date this character.

Dating Aeris is easy, as she has the highest starting affinity of all, by far. However, Tifa can be a threat to this date if you are not careful. General Guidelines When you have to create a party, always take Aeris and always leave Tifa aside except when you don’t have a choice, at the early stages of the game.

This alone should make it so that Aeris is chosen, but it doesn’t hurt to overdo it, so read on. When given the choice, always talk to or think about Aeris first.
